Lita P. Ward is a native of Williamston, NC. She attended elementary and high school in the Martin County Public School System. She has attended and received degrees from well-known institutions of higher education. Institutions in which she has matriculated include Mount Olive College – Bachelor of Science degree in Religion and Liberty University Theological Seminary – Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies.

Lita diligently and faithfully has served at Little Thankful Holy Church under the great leadership of Bishop Claudie H. Wilkins for over twenty years as a Missionary, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Director, Clerk and Treasurer. In 2008, she accepted her call into the ministry and was ordained and licensed by Bishop Claudie H. Wilkins as a minister at Little Thankful Holy Church and Love-N-Fellowship Ministries. In 2009, the Lord assigned to her humble hands a women’s ministry entitled L.T.H.C. DOVES (Divinely Ordained as Vessels to Encourage, Equip and Empower). The ministry’s vision verse is 2Timothy 2:21 “…being a vessel of honor, sanctified, meet for the master’s use, and prepared for every good work.” In 2013, she was licensed as an Evangelist. Her desire is to please the Lord and walk in her vocation of purpose and destiny. Her focus is Servant hood and Kingdom building as she ministers and teaches the Word of God.

Lita is married to Victor Ward, has five children and five grandchildren. She is employed with the University of Mount Olive in Washington, NC as the Location Director and Adjunct Instructor of Religion. In the professional arena, she never forgets where the Lord has brought her. One of her favorite Scriptures is Ephesians 3:20-21, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
